The M/V Hornet was built in 1975 by Halter Marine Services of Lockport, Louisiana for Robbins Towing Company. After years of service with Robbins Towing, Riverway, and Ingram, the vessel was renamed Brian Rafferty by Ingram in 2015.
This model represents the Hornet / Brian Rafferty style of 137' towboat and is offered in an Ingram-inspired paint scheme. Two second deck intake arrangements are currently available, reflecting differences seen across similar sister vessels, including the John F. Secrest, formerly Mary L.
