M/V Dick Conerly – United Barge Line
The M/V Dick Conerly is one of the most recognizable towboats to sail in the distinctive United Barge Line color scheme. Built by St. Louis Ship for Federal Barge Lines, the vessel later joined the United Barge Line fleet before continuing her career as today's M/V Martha Ingram. This model recreates the boat during her memorable United Barge Line years, preserving a chapter of inland river history that remains a favorite among collectors and former crewmembers alike.
Powered by 10,500 horsepower, the Dick Conerly was designed for demanding line-haul service on America's inland waterways. Her distinctive profile and striking United Barge Line livery made her a familiar sight throughout the Mississippi River system and continue to make her one of the most recognizable boats of her era.
Each model is individually designed from reference material before being 3D printed, hand assembled, and carefully finished by me into a display-quality replica.
